Bellwether

In an attempt to make myself finish some of the lace projects I have going (including one that I, uh, started today), I’ve joined The Amazing Lace.
We shall see if I actually finish anything. Right now, the lace project tally is as follows:

I went to my LYS’s knit-in evening today, and picked up some new sock yarn (Lorna’s Lace’s Shepherd Sock in Mother Lode) and cast on for the second Retro Rib, which is a really fun pattern. See?

130 yards, unknown wool from New Zealand. Incredibly crappy yarn. Fiber came from one of those “knit with roving!” kits, and as such, it was half-felted and really difficult to work with. I’m also attempting to learn long draw, so that’s also a factor. The colors are nice, but I’m not [...]
