Plying, scant progress, new baby (not mine)!

Plying is boring.  I’ve spent 3 or 4 hours over the last two evenings plying some yarn, and I still have at least another hour or 2 to go.  Then again, I’m really pleased with how the yarn’s turning out, so I guess I can’t complain too much.  I’m hoping to have it done tomorrow [...]

New Projects

Now that Kiri 2.0’s done, I’ve embarked on two new projects (because I don’t have old projects languishing, OF COURSE NOT).
The first is Serrano from the new issue of Knitty. I started with the needle size called for in the pattern:

And that wee ball of yarn on the cushion is all that I had left after casting off, apart from some other short lengths of scraps.
