Bearing witness.

Scarf, Fiber

Finished the Noro Silk Garden Lite multidirectional scarf:

Ooooooh. Aaaaaaah. The recipient loves it, which is good. The yarn also softened up a LOT when I washed it, also good.
I also bought some fiber from Franquemont Fibers off of eBay:

Merino, bombyx silk, tussah silk, kid mohair, and angelina–and it’s spinning up wonderfully. [...]

Feather and Fan

Isn’t it divine? I’m absolutely loving knitting with my handspun, and I’m getting a huge kick out of seeing how the colors shift into each other. And you know, Feather and Fan is the easiest lace pattern ever and it still looks damned impressive.

Yarn: Sundara Yarn Sport Merino, 4 hanks in color 012
Needles: US 7, first half done on Addi Turbos, second half done on Lantern Moon Rosewoods. The Lantern Moons were much easier to work with.
Notes: I did 16 pattern repeats for a shawl that blocked to 90″ wide [...]
